Andrew Byrne BA (hons) MBACP, MNCS (Accred).
Relational Integrative Psychotherapist
I am a qualified Relational Integrative Psychotherapist. Fully insured and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I trained as an integrative therapist incorporating different theories into a therapeutic relational framework. I believe we are all individuals needing individual approaches. The theories incorporated in my training are psychodynamic, humanistic, existential, transpersonal and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). Integrative therapy provides a flexible, effective and helpful way of counselling with the healing coming from our therapeutic relationship.
My specialist areas include trauma, addictions, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, homelessness, mental health problems, domestic abuse, long-term illness, disabilities and workplace issues.
I also have experience working with young people in an NHS setting, college and a local charity.
